Inspired by a facebook posting from Davis Clark a few weeks ago, I attempted to swim 20 laps fly on 45 seconds last Sunday after I had already swam laps for 50 minutes. I finished the first 5 on schedule @ about 22-25 secs giving me what I thought was enough rest. Of course after the 5th lap I changed it up to 60 seconds and was able to complete 5 more. Today, I thought I’d try again at the beginning of my work out… No problem right? Same thing 5 laps @ 45 secs, next 5 laps @ 60 secs. Frustrating, but I guess I need to work harder.
